About View Rendered Source
View Rendered Source compares a page's raw HTML with its rendered DOM, so you can see exactly what JavaScript changed. The point is that JavaScript can hide, change or break the tags search engines care about, and tag managers, chat widgets and A/B tests may be altering a page unnoticed. A Difference panel has an SEO filter for titles, canonicals, headings, hreflang and JSON-LD, and an Inventory lists key page elements in both versions. It also warns that crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot do not run JavaScript, so content that exists only in the rendered DOM may never reach AI answers. The core tool is free with no account, and a paid tier adds saving, comparing and sharing snapshots. It runs as a Chrome extension.
