About google-browser-scraper

A self-hosted Google search scraper for Python that reads SERP results with a real Chrome browser and your own residential proxy, positioned as a self-hosted SERP API alternative. Output is JSON with organic results, related questions and searches, pagination and search metadata, plus the text of Google's AI Overview when the page shows one and the map pack places on local queries, with name, rating, reviews, type, address, phone and opening hours. It runs as a CLI, a Python library, an HTTP API, an MCP server for AI agents or a Docker image, with built-in NodeMaven support and sticky sessions. Every run summary reports traffic and cost per 1000 pages, and protection against poisoned results is included. Suggested uses are SEO rank tracking and SERP monitoring for your own keywords, and keyword and competitor research from live results. MIT licensed.
