About IndexNow Action

A GitHub Action that automatically submits URLs to participating search engines through the IndexNow protocol. It reads URLs from a sitemap, with several sitemap formats supported, and can also generate the IndexNow key file during deployment so the setup needs little manual work. Inputs let a workflow choose how far back to look, such as day, month or year, and pick the endpoint of a particular search engine, including api.indexnow.org, Bing, Seznam and Yandex. Usage examples show a basic setup and more advanced ones. Written in TypeScript and released under the MIT license, so it is free to use, and the repository documents versions, maintainers, contributing and acknowledgements. It suits teams that publish through GitHub workflows and want new or changed pages announced to search engines at once.
