About MkDocs Ultralytics Plugin

A plugin for documentation sites built with MkDocs that handles SEO metadata, social cards, JSON-LD, Git authors, a Copy for LLM button and llms.txt generation. It generates meta descriptions and tags images for sharing, adds social share buttons, and pulls Git history to show creation and update dates with author avatars at the bottom of pages. Article and FAQPage schema are generated for better search engine understanding. A postprocess mode extends the same features to other static site generators such as Zensical, Hugo and Jekyll. Written in Python and licensed AGPL-3.0, with an enterprise license available for commercial products that cannot accept the AGPL terms. Configuration options let a project switch each feature on or off, and installation is a single Python package. It is built for documentation teams that want search and social previews, structured data and AI friendly output without writing the markup by hand.
