About SerpScrap
Structured search result retrieval for SEO, research and automation. SerpScrap returns results as JSON that keeps the source engine, rank, URL, title, snippets, result type and typed failures, so downstream scripts can rely on a consistent shape. It is offered as a Python package, a command line tool, a Docker application and an MCP-compatible server. The command line keeps result data on stdout and progress logging on stderr, which suits piping into other tools. A Compose stack brings up the API, PostgreSQL history, a web interface and the MCP server together, with placeholder secrets to replace in an environment file. The project is written in Python and released under the MIT license as open source, free to use, and currently labelled as an early 2.0.0 alpha version.
