About OpenSERP

A self-hosted web search engine for AI agents and SEO work. It queries Google, Bing, Yandex, Baidu, DuckDuckGo and Ecosia in a real browser and returns ranked results, and with a flag it can fetch the linked pages as clean Markdown. You use it as an HTTP API, a command line tool or an MCP server, with setup guides for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Claude Desktop, Open WebUI and n8n, plus a Node package for adding the MCP server to a client. Examples include agent tools, retrieval context, SEO rank tracking, extraction and image search. A comparison table sets it against paid search APIs, and proxy support is built in. It is free to run on your own infrastructure. MIT licensed.
