Screaming Frog MCP Server

A headless MCP server that drives the command line of Screaming Frog SEO Spider, so Claude Code, Claude Desktop or any MCP client can run crawls, export crawl data and analyze the saved results. The tool surface is small and locked down on purpose, which suits scheduled audits, CI and unattended AI agents. It works from the saved crawl database and needs a licensed Screaming Frog install on the same machine, since it is not a cloud crawler. The graphical app must be closed while it runs because the database allows only one process at a time. Most features need a paid Screaming Frog license, as the free version has a 500 URL crawl limit. It can be installed from PyPI or from source, and the server itself is open source under the MIT license.
