About mcp-gsc
A Model Context Protocol server that connects Google Search Console to AI assistants, so SEO data can be analyzed through conversation. It works with Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Antigravity and any other MCP compatible client. Setup takes three steps: create Google API credentials, install it, then test. A reference lists the environment variables, and a troubleshooting section covers common startup errors such as uvx not being found. Read-only OAuth tokens are supported, and a failed token refresh is handled more gracefully in the latest version. The author also offers a more advanced hosted version with GA4, Google Ads, SERP lookups and keyword research, and has built a separate Chrome extension for Search Console. Written in Python and MIT licensed, with a Cursor Marketplace entry.
